Join us for the 4th Annual Town of Washington Breast Cancer Walk Event!
When & Where: Saturday, October 15, 2016, Bridge-to-Bridge starting on the south side of town entering from Opelousas. Event day registration begins at 10:00 a.m. the Town of Washington Breast Cancer Walk. The walk will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Registration for this event is free! 1st 50 walk participants will receive a free goodie bag and t-shirt. There will be a ceremony including a balloon release directly after the walk at the Washington Community Center. A meal will be served!
Please dress appropriately in comfortable clothing and good walking shoes. Remember sunscreen and a hat. Beverages will be provided before and after the walk. All participants are welcome! Course is handicap accessible.

GUIDELINES & RULES
Line up starts at the Washington Rec. Ctr. at 705 S. Bridge St. and will end at the Washington Community Center. Immediately after the parade there will be LIVE ENTERTAINMENT at the Downtown Pavilion on Main St., featuring: Geno Delafose (11:30am-1:00pm), Greg Martinez (1:30pm-3:00pm), Chris Ardoin (3:30pm-5:00pm), and Lil’ Kenny (5:30pm-7:00pm) across from the Washington Police Dept. Admission is “Free of Charge!” There will also be food and drinks sold. There will be Arts & Crafts and Antique Shops setup along Main St. also the Old Schoolhouse Mall will be offering unique displays of handmade and manufactured merchandise.
